Avantika (Nicky) Marwaha, MD, FRCP(C)

Dr. Nicky Marwaha completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa in 2000 where she graduated with high distinction and was a Silver Medallist in the graduating class. She completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 2004, followed by internal medicine and gastroenterology training at McMaster University. She graduated from the Gastroenterology program in 2010.

She works at the GI Health Centre, in Burlington, as a full-time community gastroenterologist. She is the current Chair of the C-GRS Program for the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG). She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Clinic Endoscopists (OACE).

During her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and 3 young kids.
